Community Reception for the Clothesline Project and Display Details

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and The Crisis Center, Inc. invites you to join us in honoring and supporting victims and survivors throughout our communities.
The Crisis Center, Inc. would like to formally invite you to the Community Opening Reception for:
The Clothesline Project
Monday October 20, 2025 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Manhattan Town Center, East Court
(Located between Ulta Beauty and HuHot)
This powerful exhibit features shirts created by victims and survivors of domestic violence, as well as their friends, families, and community members impacted by domestic violence.
Join us on October 20, 2025, for light refreshments and information about The Crisis Center, Inc. and local community resource groups that help support victims and survivors in our area.
This opening reception is free and open to the public.

Who makes the shirts?
- Anyone impacted by domestic violence, or anyone who wishes to show support, is invited to contribute.
- Join the free shirt-designing event at the Manhattan Public Library, Groesbeck Meeting Room, on Saturday, Septmeber 27, 2025, from 9:30-11:30 AM.
- Shirts may be made individually and coordinated through our Community Engagment Coordinator, Rachel Fontenot, at rachel@thecrisiscenterinc.org.
- Shirts are due by October 1, 2025. Please contact rachel@thecrisiscenterinc.org for more information.
How can you participate?

- Make your shirt and get it to the Community Engagment Coordinator, Rachel Fontenot, at rachel@thecrisiscenterinc.org.
- Support vicitms and survivors by attending the Clothesline Project display during the opening reception, or throughout the week.
